T. Bryan Byrne is from Richmond, Virginia. Mr. Byrne received his bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan in 1976 and his law degree from the University of San Diego School of Law in 1980. Mr. Byrne passed the Virginia State Bar examination and was admitted to practice in Virginia in 1980. Mr. Byrne has been engaged in the private practice of law in the Richmond area since 1981.

Mr. Byrne is admitted to practice in all Virginia state courts along with the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. Mr. Byrne is a member of the Virginia State Bar and the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association.

Mr. Byrne began his practice representing persons in their legal matters involving: workers' compensation, Social Security disability, personal injury, criminal law, juvenile law, domestic relations, consumer bankruptcy and wills and estates.

Since 1990, Mr. Byrne has focused his practice more on cases involving: personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, workers' compensation and Social Security disability. Mr. Byrne has represented injured persons in their personal injury claims, or the families of deceased persons in their wrongful death claims, in Circuit Courts in Virginia including: the City of Richmond, Henrico County, Chesterfield County, the Shennandoah Valley and Tidewater, as well as the Supreme Court of Virginia, United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
