Mr. Byrne represents persons in the City of Richmond, Chesterfield County, Henrico County, Hanover Courty and elsewhere in Virginia, who have been injured in falls or other on-premises accidents caused by the negligence of others. Mr. Byrne also represents surviving family members of persons who have died as a result of accidental falls or other on-premises accidents. Mr. Byrne has represented persons injured in falls and other accidents and injuries resulting from unsafe premises in cases litigated in Circuit Courts in the Richmond area. Mr. Byrne has represented persons injured in falls or other-on premises accidents that have occurred indoors or outdoors on the following types of property: detached house, rental property, theater, grocery store, amusement area and other commercial property.

Mr. Byrne has represented injured persons in their claims for compensation for injuries involving: wet floors, failure to post "Wet Floor" signs, foreign substances on floors, senior citizens, electrically powered, automatic doors, tripping hazards, hazardous stairs, children, improper use of slippery floor coating on floor tiles, a dangerously slippery floor, improperly coated, slippery ramp, collision between people, falling merchandise in a store and defective stairs.

Mr. Byrne has experience in representing the surviving family members of persons who have died as a result of accidental falls. Mr. Byrne has experience in the investigation of cases involving accidents and injuries from falls and other on-premises accidents from unsafe conditions, and in reviewing building codes and/or consulting with engineers and/or building inspectors concerning compliance with building codes and/or engineering standards applicable to: theater lighting, amusement areas, the design and maintenance of walking surfaces and the slipperiness of floor surfaces.
